Lexar announced this week what he said is the first in the world in time for. Nintendo said it will only support microSD Express cards, not the ordinary microSD that you may have already used in your old switch. There are three storage capacity options to choose with the new Lexar Play Pro MicroSDX Express card: 1 TB ($ 199.99), 512 GB ($ 99.99) and 256 GB ($ 49.99). Buyers have already torn them down quickly, so you will have to wait until they are back in stock if you want to take one.
According to Lexar, the Play Pro Microsdxc Express card offers reading speeds up to 900 MB / s and writing speeds up to 600 MB / s. Also introduced a microSD Express 1 TB card alongside an option of 512 GB and 256 GB, which are all compatible with Nintendo Switch 2, but these will not be shipped before June when the new console arrives.
