9-1-1 It was not the only show that killed a major character in 2025 – and many of these fictitious deaths still have turned fans.
The drama ABC threw We For a loop when an April episode ended with Peter KrauseBobby is secretly infected with a rare and deadly virus. While viewers faced the shocking outing, Krause shared an emotional letter on the reshuffle.
“In October 2017, through him, we started to approach subjects such as sorrow, guilt, anger and dependence while exploring his relationship with a power, forgiveness and superior grace,” he wrote via X at the time. On his healing path, we saw him join and embrace both his new family in the fire station and his new family with Athena Grant where he found love and acceptance. We also had a lot of fun along the way. It was a joy.
Krause described Bobby’s death as a major “loss”.
“I have heard that many fans are upset by this loss and they have the right to be. It is a loss. That said, it was more than a daring creative choice in a daring show. Bobby Nash was written in sacrifice and it was built for this,” he continued. “The first stakeholders risk their lives at work so that others can see another day. His story honors them.
Bobby’s release on 9-1-1 came after the hour of the show Yellow Jackets had a brutal third season with several major deaths. The same thing happened on Paramount + 1923Who finished his second season with more than one handful of character deaths on the screen.

Bobby (‘9-1-1’)
After being on the show since his first in 2018, 9-1-1 killed the character of Krause during the “contagion” event in two parts in April when Bobby contracted a rare and deadly virus after a massive laboratory explosion.

Chelsea and Rick (“The White Lotus”)

Ben (Steven Krueger) Being in disagreement with the girls in the last calendar finally made him realize that he was out of options in the desert. He asked Natalie (Sophie Thatcher) In an episode of Mars to get him out of his misery. Natalie refused until he made a hunger strike, so she decided to stab her in her chest to spare her slow death.
Alex and a bunch of other characters – and horses (‘1923’)

After having already had visions of a mysterious staircase, adult Lottie (Simone Kessell) was found dead at the start of season 3 in February. A mystery of a season revealed that Shauna (Melanie Lynskey) Callie girl (Sarah Desjardins) was at fault.
