Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the panel of starred comments for the next PSL 2025. Lisa Sthalekar’s tastes, Mark Nicholas, Sir Alastair Cook and Wasim Akram are ready to make their debut in the League comments group.
The PSL 2025 should start from April 11 and the preparations for the tournament are booming. In total, 34 games will be played in the Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi tournament. The final should take place on May 18.
While the players started to join their franchises, the PCB ensures that they do their part. Sunday (April 6), they announced the panel of comments, which presents former players from various parts of the world.
Four former Pakistani test captains, Aamir Sohail, Ramiz Raja, Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram, will comment from Pakistan. In addition, they will be joined by Bazid Khan, the former captain of the Pakistani female team Urooj Mumtaz and Cricket analyst Sikander Bakht.
With Alastair Cook, The World Feed will showcase Mark Nicholas, Dominic Cork and Mark Butcher, while Jean-Paul Duminy and Mike Haysman in South Africa will also be part of the comments group for the next PSL 2025.
From Bangladesh, Athar Ali Khan will be there and he will be joined by the former New Zealand test cricket Martin Guptill. Lisa Sthalekar, the double winner of the ICC Women’s Women’s Cup in Australia, was appointed to the PSL 2025 comments committee.
PSL 2025 to be a TV in Ourdou
The PSL 2025 will also be a television in Ourdou for the first time.
Ali Younis, Aqeel Samar, Marina Iqbal, Salman Butt and Tariq Saeed will appear in the Ourdou panel. While ERIN HOLLAND and ZAINAB Abbas will be the presenters during the tournament matches.
PSL’s chief executive officer Salman Naseer made an official statement after the announcement of the Comment Committee for the 2025 edition. He said they were delighted to see emblematic names in the cricket world to be part of the PSL, adding that their experience will improve the experience of fans viewing. He said:
“We are delighted to welcome a team of starred comments, featuring some of the most emblematic names in the world of cricket – including the former legendary test captains and high -level diffusers. Their involvement improves not only the quality of our coverage, but also highlights the global stature of PSL HBL.
“This year, for the first time in HBL PSL History, we will broadcast a full match entirely in the comments of the Ourdou – a decision that brings us even closer to our base of passionate fans through Pakistan. We are convinced that the combination of emblematic voice and new innovations will improve the experience of viewing for fans at home and in the world.”
