Chelsea could compete with an important offer from Saudi Arabia to sign the defender of Feyenoord David Hancko this summer, a report revealed.
The 27 -year -old man flourished during his stay in Rotterdam, cared for under the supervision of the manager of Liverpool, Arne Slot. He drew the attention of Europe’s giants accordingly, Atletico Madrid having come closest to sign it before.
The versatile central rear, which is also able to play on the back left, continued this term in Feyenoord but seems more and more likely to leave the club for significant costs when the campaign is finished and dusted.
According to Voetbal InternationalHancko is guaranteed to leave Feyenoord this summer and is interesting a host of clubs – one of which is Chelsea. Blues are not the only Premier League team hunting, with West Ham United, also keeping an eye on the Slovak.
Atletico remains interested in the defender, while an anonymous German club recently spotted Hancko. However, the intrigued parts of Europe will have to compete with the riches of the Middle East.
The report indicates that Al Nassr wants to sign it and prepare an offer that is equivalent to more than the Record club costs that Feyenoord received for Santiago Gimenez in the winter window. Milan has signed the Mexican striker for 32 million euros, which means that Chelsea or West Ham may have to match or exceed a Saudi offer of more than 27 million pounds sterling for Hancko’s services.
Chelsea already has an abundance of central defensive options at their disposal, but should be strengthened there during the summer. Hancko’s ability to play on the left also makes him an interesting asset, with the short blues in this department.
West Ham, on the other hand, must make drastic improvements through the field but certainly to the central defender. Their defensive file has been extremely disappointing this season and Graham Potter will demand reinforcements during its first summer transfer window with the club.
