Asus updates both its Proart laptop and its chromebooks with the latest interns for Computex 2025, and offering the two families of portable computers a higher -end look, with new colors and good -taste finishes.
The Asus Proart A16 is distinguished as the most premium choice, with a black aluminum body, a “stealth” hinge which brings the upper half of the laptop rinse almost with the bottom and a finish resistant to stains which should, hope, avoid fingerprints. Inside, ASUS offers an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU, both of which qualify the new Proart as COPILOT + PC. This means that you will have access to the growing list of Windows AI features, and ASUS also includes applications – Storycube and Musetree – which can execute fully locally generative AI models. All wrapped in a laptop about half a thick thick half and have a 16-inch 4K OLED.
In terms of ChromeBooks, Asus offers both normal models and Chromebook Plus versions that support Google AI tools. ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34 has a 14 -inch screen that can fold flat and a 1080p webcam, alongside a RAM Intel Core i5 and 8 GB of RAM LPDDR5. This is enough to provide locally gemini features, and you will have priority access to Gemini Advanced. The only real downside is the Asus giant logo which always seems clumsy alongside the similar chromebook logo, and limited color options: you can only choose between white or gray.
The ASUS Chromebook CX14 and CX15 are delivered with an Intel Core N355 processor, placed at 8 GB of RAM LPDDR5 and up to 256 GB of storage. If you are curious about the features of Google AI, you can also buy a version more than the CX14. Whether you get the 14 inch or 15 inch model, the two are delivered with a respectable selection of ports, including HDMI to connect to external screens. Either the size also obtains a variety of color options: blue and gray sliver-y or greenish gray in a matt or textured finish.
The Asus Chromebook CX34 is available now from $ 400 both in Walmart and Best Buy. Meanwhile, the rest of the laptops above will not be available before the second quarter of 2025. The ProArt A16 begins $ 2,500 from the online store in Asus and Best Buy. The Chromebook CX14 starts at $ 279 from Best Buy or Costco. The Chromebook Plus CX14 will be available for $ 429 at Best Buy. And finally, the Chromebook CX15 starts at $ 220 and can be purchased from Best Buy and Amazon.
