Nintendo added an absolute jewel to its online switch library online of classic titles this week: the game Game Boy 1994, Donkey Kong. The beloved game arrives alongside the 1995 puzzle game, Mario’s Picross. Both are now available for Nintendo Switch online subscribers, just in time for Mario Day (March 10).
Donkey Kong Built on the arcade game that preceded it and includes around 100 steps. The story should be quite familiar to those who do not have a nostalgic link with her – Donkey Kong has kidnapped a beautiful woman (Pauline) and Mario is looking for rescue. While the super game Boy has made improvements for the original game, these have not been postponed to Nintendo Switch. But it should always be a treat to revisit as is. Mario’s Picross Offers a completely different experience, presenting the player with a few hundred puzzles to be resolved in chiseling the boxes and discovering the secret image below.
