At the shareholder meeting that Han chaired last week, he told investors that 2025 would be a difficult year, and Samsung would respond flexibly to President Donald Trump’s prices with his global supply chain and his manufacturing imprints.
He and other leaders were burned by shareholders at the meeting after the company’s failure to set up an AI boom made one of the least efficient technological actions of last year.
In semiconductors, Samsung is lagging behind Sk Hynix in so-called bandwidth memory chips on which Nvidia and others count for AI graphic processing units.
“First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for the performance of recent actions does not meet your expectations. During the last year, our company has not adequately met the IA semiconductor market in rapid development,” said Han.
