Real Madrid star Luka Modric is expected to become a minority owner of the Swansea City championship club.
Modric, 39, is supposed to buy a small participation in Swansea and join the existing owners, currently led by President Andy Coleman.
Coleman supervised a change in the ownership of the Swans in November of last year which saw Brett Cravatt, Nigel Morris and Jason Cohen join the group after having injected more than 20 million pounds sterling into the club.
It has now been reported by Fabrizio Romano that Modric will also buy his way as he looks like life beyond the game.

The star of Croatia remains a precious member of the team at Santiago Bernabeu and it is expected that he will sign another 12 -month -old rolling agreement which will extend his stay in Madrid to a 14th year.
Modric’s target World Cup
Modric retains the ambition of captain of Croatia at the next summer World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico before hanging up on his boots.
Swansea is 12th from the championship table and in good shape in the boss of goalkeeper Alan Sheehan.
The 1-0 victory on Saturday at Sunderland was their third trotting and followed an excellent 2-2 draw on March 29.
Sheehan took over in February after the dismissal of Luke Williams.
