It is incredible what a beautiful shade of green can make for your mood. After unpacking the 2025 edition of Motorola’s Razr, I was immediately struck by the Green nuance of the Flip Phone of $ 700 – In particular Pantone Spring Bud. It is somewhere between the lightness of the mint and the average shade of the flower leaves. Even if I usually put my phone in a case, the textured back “inspired” from Razr leather makes me want not to want.
This “fun to hold” feeling can be the most notable thing about the new Razr line by Motorola, which becomes even more unique with the options of alcantara and wood fabric on the Ultra Razr of $ 1,300. But thanks to the daring color, a cover screen which is just large enough to eliminate the essential elements, and a variety of half -folded modes, even this edition at a lower cost of the phone seems expressive. The Motorola Razr is a breath of fresh air compared to standard rectangular phones which are generally in the price range of $ 700.
Motorola is fully aware that Razr’s striking looks are a sales argument for new customers. The company cited during the Razr unveiling that 25% of its customers come from an iPhone. My day with the razr
The RAZR is easy to grasp, whether open or closed, and the rest of the body of the phone corresponds to the green shade makes it feel fun from the start. Overall, however, one of my friends found the new Razr so cute that she said she wanted to steal it – but because it is such a Pochable size, she will not have the opportunity.
I also liked to use the RAZR in a way that I just can’t use Samsung and Apple similar phones. I often attach bags on foot to phones for video calls, but with the hinge, I can rather use the phone half folded like a stand and (in supported applications like Meta’s Messenger and Google Meet) have the video call on the upper half with call controls on the lower half. When in this stand mode or partially folded like a tent, the cover screen can be defined to display ambient information like time, while my hand wave in front of the phone can activate Moto AI for quick questions.

More to come with the Razr
While I continue to test this Motorola Razr, I focus on the function of the 3.6 -inch functional cover screen. This display is like a “mini” phone and is one of the largest ways in which RAZR is distinguished from other phones under $ 800. You can configure it to run almost all Android applications, as with previous RAZR phones.
The RAZR is also the entry -level device for Moto AI, which highlights Motorola’s own efforts alongside the features built in partnership with Perplexity, Meta’s Llama AI and Microsoft Copilot.
