Eddie Howe says that Newcastle will not qualify in the Champions League for acquired until it is mathematically confirmed.
The Magpies go to the penultimate weekend of the Premier League matches in third place after a strong series of recent form.
On Sunday, they head to Arsenal placed in the second row knowing that a victory – except a mathematical miracle – will be enough for them to get a place among the European elite next season.
But Howe says that no one in Tyneside is getting ahead.
He said, “It is not yet done. The image can change games in play and I think we have to be really focused on our next match and try to win it.
“Our preparation was good and the emphasis is on the players. Nothing is done until it is done. We must be single and not be distracted.”

Botman a doubt for Arsenal Clash
Newcastle will not have a full team available at the Emirates.
Jelinton is unlikely to play this season again, Kieran Trippier is a major doubt while the half-center of the Netherlands Sven Botman has a knee problem and will be a late call.
“It was a blow, he got on his knees,” said Howe about Botman. “We are not sure of Sven’s availability for the weekend, but we will give it a chance to be in good shape.
“We don’t think it’s a serious injury. He was unlucky. You will take blows and bruises in its position and it is a similar thing, it was really unlucky on the last two occasions.
“Kieran, I don’t think so, will be able to this weekend, but again, it’s not a big injury, a very minor calf problem.
“Joe [Willock]We will leave the door open for him, I think he has a slight chance. “”
The Newcastle team is light when injuries occur
Newcastle has chosen to operate with a small team in recent seasons and has had the chance to have avoided injuries to the main players in this quarter.
Howe admits, however, that this leaves its light from the team when players are not available.
He added: “I think January [transfer window] I played a role in this, we lost two team players. I think we have succeeded very well this season to manage a small team. Our injury record this season was very good, partly due to having fewer games. We managed to keep most of the players in good shape.
“You will always get one or two. But I think we are in a position with our team, you have a series of injuries and it may seem thin very quickly. The crossed fingers, we can maintain our strength until the end of the season.”
