The New York Yankees Public Service, Oswaldo Cabrera, underwent a grotesque injury in the 11-5 victory of the team against the Seattle Mariners on Monday.
Cabrera, 26, published a sincere message on social networks Thursday evening on his recognition for the support he received.
“After such a sad night for me, having so many negative thoughts after turning my ankle so brutally, in so much pain, I went to sleep so that I did not give in to worse thoughts. When I woke up, one of the first things I did was grab my phone. Cabrera posted In Instagram.

In his post, Cabrera said that he had suffered a successful surgery on his injured ankle. Cabrera said that the outpouring of support he had received since the injury is something that he and his family will never forget.
“My return to the field begins today. Thank you to you, I feel more motivated than ever. So, with the strength that I have always had and all this beautiful energy that you give me all, I tell you that I will come back, and I will come back even stronger to continue giving my best every day. I love you all,” posted Cabrera.
In a separate position, Cabrera shouted certain teammates who came to visit him in the hospital overnight.

“I know that all my teammates would have loved coming to see me the same night, but access to the hospital was restricted. In addition, as soon as the game ended, in addition to the coaches and coaches (the people I love a lot, by the way), my captain, Aaron Judge, and another of my favorite people, Anthony Volpe, were there,” said Cabrera.
