The controversial host of “The Breakfast Club” took to the air Tuesday morning to share his views on the 60-year-old’s state of mind following troubling statements made in November via court filing of Williams’ court-appointed guardian.

Charlamagne Tha God says ‘nothing is incapable’ about Wendy Williams
Speaking to his co-hosts Jess Hilarious and DJ Envy on Tuesday morning, Charlamagne claimed that he and Williams met on a phone call while on vacation.
“She was… [she] seemed perfectly fine to me,” he said, adding: “Wendy [sounds] as if she could do radio tomorrow if she wanted.
Charlamagne’s comments align with what most have seen from Williams lately, with the ex-talk show host appearing alert and present at her son’s graduation in December.
According to Charlamagne, Williams was just as in control of his mental state during their phone conversation.

“She called me, and I don’t know what ‘incapacitated’ means as far as dementia or whatever they said she was dealing with,” he claimed, as per reports the newspaper. ATMOSPHERE“but no, Wendy Williams is not incapacitated.”

She was mentally sharp while chatting with Charlamagne: ‘She looks like Wendy Williams’
To solidify his belief, Charlamagne hilariously brought up how Williams wondered why he didn’t seem more excited to hear from his old friend.
“She asked [me]’Why are you answering the phone like we just talked yesterday [or] last week?’ She wanted me to be more excited [that] she called me,” he admitted with a laugh.
When asked about Williams’ energy, Charlamagne gave a succinct answer: “She looks like Wendy Williams!”
He then noted how his phone had accidentally gone into recording mode while he was washing his hands, which Williams immediately picked up on — and dismissed just as quickly.
“No, you wouldn’t do that,” Charlamagne-as-Wendy insisted.
“She is completely normal,” he then attested.

Wendy Williams’ caretaker claims in legal documents that talk show host is unwell
Charlamagne’s comments contrast with what was reportedly stated in a legal filing filed by Williams’ guardian, Sabrina E. Morrissey, in November in her lawsuit against A&E Networks, Lifetime Entertainment and several subsidiaries behind the four-part documentary series, ” Where is Wendy Williams?
In a report from PEOPLEWilliams was reportedly “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled and legally incapacitated” due to her ongoing battle with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia. As such, Williams was apparently in no condition to be filmed, but Lifetime did it anyway.

“‘[Where Is Wendy Williams?’] was filmed without a valid contract and released without Guardian’s consent,” Morrisey’s statement read while adding that Williams was “clearly incapable of consenting to [be] filmed, much less humiliated and exploited.”
A&E countersued Morrisey, claiming that no one from Williams’ team — including Morrissey herself — requested filming be stopped.
Wendy Williams Attended Her Son’s Graduation Ceremony and Appeared ‘Alert’
Adding to the disbelief of Morrisey’s claims are images of Williams appearing fully alert at a recent public event in Florida.
By The explosionWilliams was spotted at Florida International University in December, attending her son Kevin Hunter Jr.’s commencement ceremony. Sitting in a red mobility scooter, Williams witnessed her son’s big moment as his father, Thomas Williams Sr., and his sister, Wanda Finnie, sat nearby.
That same evening, a feisty Williams was filmed demanding to know why her guards had left her unattended in the middle of the street.
“They want to work for me, [then] that’s what they [should be] do,” Williams told a cameraman. “Take the fucking car!”
Days before Hunter’s ceremony, Williams was seen in a more positive spirit as she waited in her car for an order of seafood.

Wendy Williams’ son still fights to bring his mother home
While commenting on an Instagram post about his graduation ceremony, Williams’ only son Hunter updated fans of the radio legend about his attempts to keep his mother in Florida, where he currently lives.
“While I’m here, quick update on my mother. She’s sober and wants to come home,” Hunter said. “We are fighting to make this happen,” he continued, “because isolation kills her faster than anything else.” »
Hunter has been by her mother’s side for months, including a stop at a holistic store in New Jersey last year.
