Hallmark Media kicked off 2025 with four all-new Hallmark Channel movies, bringing viewers around the world to the comfort of their couches.
The network announced in December 2024 that its “Winter Escape” programming would debut on January 4 with The love of the Irish. During the filming of the film, the star Shenae Grimes-Beech explored the Irish countryside with her husband, Josh Beechand their two children in tow.
“It’s hard not to romanticize the simple things when you spend 24 hours alone in an 18th century Irish castle *swoon*,” Grimes-Beech wrote in the caption. an Instagram video of her taking a bath, reading with a glass of wine and getting cozy in her free time in October 2024.
After nearly a month of filming the romantic comedy – which also stars A tree hill alum Moira Kelly — Grimes-Beech told his subscribers that Ireland has “a big part of my heart”.

The love of the Irish was just one of four travel-focused features released by Hallmark Channel in January – and there are sure to be even more with Hallmark Mystery and Hallmark+ all releasing new movies throughout the year.
