The couple met in 2004 on the set of the film “Fantastic Four” and married four years later with hopes of living happily ever after together.
However, a source revealed the ups and downs they had to overcome in their marriage, telling the Daily Mail that a change in their “priorities” and lack of love became a problem along the way.
“Things have been pretty bad between them for over a year,” the source told the outlet. “They are so dedicated to their children and their careers, but their relationship hasn’t developed. They’re just friends.”

“When they started, they thought they were going to work and produce movies and TV shows together,” the source continued. “But once their businesses took off and they had children, their priorities changed and so did their feelings.”
Although there were rumors that infidelity was the cause of their decision to end their marriage, the source explained that this was not the case for the couple.
“They both want a fresh start,” our source noted. “There was no cheating. They just made moves over the last two years, and it was time to move on.”

According to the outlet, the insider said Alba’s success in business left Warren thinking their relationship was no longer a priority for her.
The “Honey” actress co-founded The Honest Company in 2011, which was valued at $1.44 billion when it went public in 2021.
Meanwhile, Warren’s business ventures, which include production company Verso Entertainment and underwear brand Pair of Thieves, reportedly generate more than $100 million in revenue.
The source told Daily Mail that Alba was “so focused on her business that she gave Cash no leverage to make things work, and he tried.”

“She just kept putting off any attempts to date and do couple things,” they shared. “It reached a point where it was easier for him to give up and give her what he thought she ultimately wanted.”

Cash Warren’s jealousy was a problem

During an appearance on Jana Kramer’s “Whine Down” podcast in 2023, Warren opened up about how her jealousy almost ruined their relationship in its budding phase.
The Hollywood producer, who doesn’t appear to have worked in the industry since 2015, explained that when they first met, he was “really jealous of the other guys and the attention she was getting from the from the other guys,” adding that “It just didn’t feel good.”

“It was jealousy. I was being an asshole and we broke up,” Warren explained, adding that he had to work on his feelings and became Alba’s biggest supporter and a “good teammate.” .

Meanwhile, the exes have yet to officially file for divorce but are already negotiating the details of their impending split.
According to American weeklya source said the estranged couple plans to file for divorce “soon,” although the process appears to have been stalled by the ongoing fires in Los Angeles.
“Cash has slowly moved things out of their house, but since the fires they’ve been spending more time under the same roof as a family,” the source explained. “They are there for each other right now because it’s a very stressful time.”

Amid their split, a source said People Magazine that they are still “friends and caring about their children”, but suggested it would be difficult for them not to officially separate because it has been “difficult to keep the spark” in their marriage.
