Manchester United might have enjoyed a superb late comeback against Southampton, but Sir Jim Ratcliffe had a face like thunder in the Premier League match.
A Manuel Ugarte own goal gave the Saints the lead after 80 minutes, but Amad Diallo reversed the fortunes of the Old Trafford club with a sublime hat-trick.
The winger waited late to score three goals for United, who picked up three points against the relegation favorites.

But the Red Devils had struggled up to that point and at one point their fans must have feared the worst.
In the stands was Ratcliffe, the head of Ineos, and he looked dismayed by one incident in particular. Antony missed an open goal, but not before Leny Yoro managed to deal with Kamaldeen Sulemana, as the winger slotted past him with ease.
The cost of Yoro and Antony totals £134 million. While the winger’s time at United appears to be almost over, the Frenchman is still developing and patience will be required at times.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s tenure at Manchester United
Ratcliffe paid £1.3 billion to take a 27.7 per cent stake in the club last year, taking over the Glazers’ football operations.
He has already made some very unpopular decisions, mainly related to cost cutting. Last month, in a conversation with United fanzine We Stand, Ratcliffe even said that the team was mediocre:
“Manchester United have become mediocre. It’s not elite and it’s supposed to be one of the best football clubs in the world. This is how it was before [Sir] Alex [Ferguson]. Major changes are coming to reach elite status. But there have already been huge changes at this club.
“It’s not easy and it’s not quick. This is a complex problem and because it has been moving in this direction for so long, a lot of inertia has built up within the organization. Trying to turn what has been relatively mediocre into a top-tier, elite team is a huge task.
