The Manchester United icon, Wayne Rooney, urged Marcus Rashford to leave the club, describing his current situation at the club as “embarrassing”.
Rashford has been absent from the last 11 teams of United Day, manager Ruben Amorim clearly indicating that the international in England is not in his plans.
Sunday, Amorim went so far as to say that he would prefer to select the 63 -year -old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital in Rashford.
The Portuguese manager strengthened his position a few days later, insisting on the striker “must change” if he wants to play again for the club.
Rooney, a goalscorer of all time from United, briefly played alongside Rashford at the level of the club and the international level. He thinks that the 27-year-old is no longer himself and has to look for a new start elsewhere.
Speaking about overlap, he said: “I spoke to Marcus a few times and I gave him my thoughts and my opinion. I said that you had to leave the football club because everything that is happening in his life and everything that is happening at Manchester United, he is not the same. He’s not him.
“So I told him, to have a new start, he has to leave the club. The fact that your manager comes out and says you don’t train properly is crazy.
“I can’t even get involved in this conversation!” 😡

“With Marcus, it has been going on for two years and it’s sad. It’s really sad.
Although Rashford is not interested in a new challenge, it has so far been unable to obtain a January before the deadline for the transfer window on Monday.
Rooney, who regularly visits the United training field because of the involvement of his sons at the Academy, recalled that he saw Rashford training in isolation.
“I went to Carrington on Sunday to take my children to the match day, and Marcus was on the training field with the fitness coach,” he said.
“But he was just towards the place where parents passed for children’s games. I looked at him, thinking how embarrassing he should be for him when the parents pass.
“I was surprised when [Rashford’s training issues] Started more than two years ago, but now I’m not.
With the future of Rashford to Old Trafford, more and more uncertain, he remains to be seen if he will find an exit route in the coming days or that he will be confined to exile of a few more months.
