Honorable mentions
During the winter, a whole wired crew tests ski clothes almost constantly. Here are some other elements that we love.
Hestra Fall Line 3-Pinger gloves for $ 165:: I have long admired the Hestra gloves on the other side of the lifting line, impressed by the elegant Stithwork of the Swedish society and the reflected design keys. It was the year I was finally able to try a pair for me, and the fall line is exactly what they look like. There are six sizes available so you can get the perfect fit in this glove. The cow tank is smooth in butter and has already broken a little with five days of use. The wrist strap means that you never have to worry about dropping your elevator glove when you check your phone, and they are very hot without being sweated. If you sweat, the lining is removable so you can wash it without damaging the leather. —Martin Cizmar
Outdoor search snow pants for $ 229:: These outdoor search ski pants have all the features you might want (mesh healer, zipper pockets, thigh vents) and none you don’t need. They are made from a fabric called Sweet Touch Ventia while being breathable and relatively waterproof, and although the adjustment is puffy, they have tabs to adjust the size so that you do not really relive the ugly bizkit era of snow sports, unless you wish. The color of bronze adjacent Khaki compliments almost all colors high. I did not think of these pants at all for two days on the tracks, which is exactly the experience I want with my ski pants. —Martin Cizmar
Seniq powder puff jacket for $ 498 and bib for $ 398:: Seniq is another outdoor brand of all the women that was launched in 2024. It is a little more Gen Z, leaning on fun colors blocking the monochromatic look. The Seniq Powder Puff Down jacket has a dry finish. It is intended for drier days on the mountain, but a DWR coating without PFC and YKK Aquaguard zippers provide water resistance. Asymmetrical front zipper helps you avoid the chin when you have the entirely zipped jacket. It also presents cool asymmetrical shortpoint lines, side pockets in your pocket that give access to your backrest (their files have a pocket on the front, so that you can enter without decompressing your jacket), an oversized removable hood, a forearm pass pocket, soft and stretchy bracelets and a large internal pocket that can absolutely manage a sandwich. This jacket was hot, earrier and comforting, like a super soft hug.
The silky files are slightly cut in a barrel, which gives them a flattering shape without being adjusted. Adjustive back -style straps and low back (with extensible size) also offer pleasant shape and breathability. There are two pockets on the front chest, pockets on one or the other of the legs, thighs of bidirectional zippe and a zipper for bathroom breaks. These easily adapt on my boots, and the intepp guards were a nice touch. With a lasting three-layer membrane and a 20,000 mm waterproof dimension, these will hold every time that the mountain launches you. When I worn them by a day of wet snow, they have peel and destroyed humidity. —Kristin Canning
Mammut sender in hooded jacket for $ 260:: This swollen hooded sweatshirt is a superb layer half-layer under a shell jacket. The insulation is made from recycled rope ends, and the exterior is covered with DWR coating without wind resistant PFC. The hem falls to the hips, and the high necklace and the tight hood keep most of the face covered. I like to wear this piece under shells for snowboarding, but I know that it will pull the double duty as a comfortable hiking and camping jacket, so it is a solid versatile investment. It is exceptionally light and warm, although from the point of view of the volume, it is on the most voluminous side for an intermediate layer and is not the most embedable room. —Kristin Canning
Helly Hansen has played half the air for $ 112:: This fleece sweater has a texture similar to a waffle that imprisoned heat and evokes humidity. With a zipper and a zipper hem, you can adjust the adjustment to make it more waterproof or breathable. This intermediate layer was wonderfully light while keeping my grill. It is not at all bulky, only a little thicker than a base layer, elongated comfortably under my jackets and moved with me on the mountain. —Kristin Canning
Base layer Helly Hansen Lifa Long sleeve crew for $ 88 And Pants for $ 88:: These basic layers reach the ideal point of weight; They are not too thick or thin, but just. They are slightly loose than the other options on this list, so if you prefer something that is not so adjusted, these are an excellent choice (but note that they work for a long time). These combine merino wool with the Lifa fibers of Helly Hansen, which add more humidity pivot capacities. They are soft, light, hot and do not hold the odors. I love cute designs and the way they regulate my temperature under isolated jackets and pants. The size hollows a little but does not drive, and they stay in place and move well. —Kristin Canning
