However, with Newcastle, it is unlikely that he will sell Isak, Mikel Arteta will have to go around to strengthen his attack options and Merson thinks that Kane, 31, could be the answer.

And Merson said, “Arsenal will buy it, why not?”
“If you are available, you should weigh it. People will go, he at this age, he at this age but Arsenal needs now. If Arsenal does not win the League, you have to try your luck, buy someone who is proven. I would not be surprised.
“If he wants to go for 64 million pounds sterling, there are only a few teams that can buy it. Manchester City will not buy it, [and] If you believe what you read, Manchester United would not pay loan costs [Mathys] Such, so it’s worrying, then Tottenham.
“He will have to win something in Bayern because he’s going to return to Tottenham to win nothing.”
Kane unless she is Shearer’s file
Kane scored 213 goals during his stay in Spurs and left only 47 shy from the record of all time of Alan Sheare.
And Merson thinks that the opportunity to break for Mark could be a decisive factor as to his return to England.
He added: “It would be a big decision and if he does not believe that he could break the record of Alan Shearer, I do not really see the point of coming back.”
