(Reuters) – Promised flea manufacturing factories of Intel dollars in Ohio are faced with new delays, the first factory in New Albany should not be completed before 2030, the point of sale of local media said on Friday.
The first factory will start operations shortly after in 2030 or 2031, depending on the report, citing the flea manufacturer.
The actions of the company, which initially had to start the manufacture of chiffs in Ohio factories in 2025, increased by more than 5%.
Intel has reduced capital expenses after its expensive offer to become a contractual flea manufacturer for other companies, as part of the restoration of its lost glory, has set out its balance sheet.
The changes have been made so that Intel can align its factory operation with market demand and better “manage responsible capital”, the report cited Naga Chandrasekaran, Director General for the Manufacturing of Intel Foundry, as a message to workers.
The second Ohio factory of the company will only be completed at least 2031 and will start to operate in 2032, according to the report.
Intel did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Reuters.
Last year, the company dismissed 15% of its workforce, suspended the dividend and launched a vast cost savings plan involving massive reductions in its capital expenses in the coming years.
His finance manager David Zinsner told Reuters last month that the company’s objective was to ensure that operating expenses were around 17.5 billion dollars for 2025.
