First of all, apologies. In Tuesday newsletter, I explained how to watch (and what to expect from) the Alexa Press event of Amazon. But in addition to revealing what Alexa + will be capable of, there was no silly equipment and no improved echoes, but. We have learned that Alexa + will be included with an Amazon Prime subscription, and the company will also offer the improved digital assistant separately, for $ 20 per month. PRIME currently costs $ 15 per month in the United States. So it’s weird.
Meanwhile, the new entry -level iPhone from Apple, the 16th, is launching online and in stores today. The $ 599 phone is probably too expensive of $ 100, but it contains a processor that can provide Apple intelligence to the masses. It has a magnificent screen, with a notch – if not a dynamic island – and a long battery life. Thanks to this A18 chip, it is as powerful as iPhones, which cost several hundred dollars more.
This is a phone for people who do not upgrade every year (or two). If you come from an older iPhone, let’s say an iPhone 11 (like my mother), you will be entitled to a brighter screen, an improved image processing and, devil, 5G. Apple says that the new process will guarantee that the 16th is 80% faster than the iPhone 11. You will see the difference. Oh, and you get an action button.
Our greatest concern is the unique situation. It is an excellent camera, but we are already missing the versatility of the optical zoom which goes beyond the digital cropping that the iPhone 16th uses. Consult our full exam here. And if you don’t stay with an iPhone, we are entering the mid -range smartphones season – then stay attentive.

To what to expect from Samsung, nothing, Xiaomi and more at the MWC 2025
Nothing new devices could be the title titles.
The largest smartphone event in the world (after the launch of the iPhone, let’s be real) returns to Barcelona. Although it is no longer the peak of the mobile World Congress, China smartphones like to reveal technically accomplished devices, and we expect delights from Xiaomi, Honor, Huawei et al. Except maybe not Oppo – it has already done his thing.
At MWC 2022, Nothing’s Carl Pei showed a prototype of the company’s first handset, the telephone number 1. It seems that it is ready to reveal its third generation phone, with the usual drop of specification, features and hyperbola already in action. Nothing has already revealed the design of a phone, the 3A Pro, in a video of almost 11 minutes. In particular, a large bump of OLE camera to accommodate a Periscope telephoto lens.
Xiaomi also teases exhilarating camera equipment: its 15 ultra will be a power of photography, depending on the rumors of a 1 inch main sensor and a 200 megapixel periscope telephotive.
Will Samsung show the slimline? Maybe. It could also be time to reveal an update of its mid-range devices in the A series. Perhaps the company will do both.

Sony reduces the price of PS VR2 to $ 400
Also add the price of your PS5.
Sony permanently reduces the price of the PlayStation VR2. From March, the helmet will cost $ 400, against $ 500. It costs always more than the meta quest 3, an autonomous helmet, but is obviously capable of a richer graphic experience. That said, where are the AAA games? Even Sony PS VR2’s website is struggling to offer something particularly exciting.

You never find these lost wireless headphones
It’s time to let go.
I lost my. Wherever I put them down, I remember thinking: “You will regret not put them back in the case of charge.” And I was right. Two weeks later, I have the case of charge, open and ready, but the buds were translocated in another dimension. I tried Apple to find my application, which says they are somewhere in my apartment.
It doesn’t help me enough. I use them for training, so I checked the jacket pockets, gym shorts, bathroom, windows, sides of my sofa and even my interior hearing. But no.
I maintained hope for two weeks, but it is time for me to let go. Fortunately, I work here, so I have three rescue options for listening to the gymnasium. But they did not suit as well as the Beats Fit Pro. I will keep the case of charge, just in case they appear as if by magic in my detergent box or elsewhere completely arbitrary, but mentally, I know that I will never find them again.
Goodbye, my waxy and sweaty buttons.
