President Donald Trump announced that Dan Bongino would be the next deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
“Excellent news for the application of American laws and justice,” Trump wrote in an article on Truth Social Sunday evening. “Dan Bongino, a man of love and incredible passion for our country, has just been appointed the next deputy director of the FBI, by the man who will be the best director of all time, Kash Patel.”

The president said that Bongino had a master’s degree in psychology from the University of the City of New York and a Penn State MBA.
