A four -part drama on Netflix quickly became one of the most spoken television series in 2025 and one of the best originals from Netflix never released. After the beloved British star Stephen Graham explained his period boxing drama “A Thousand Blows” (a dream watch for fans of “Peaky Blinders”), he followed with “adolescence”, the father of Jamie Miller, 13 years old (NewComer Owen Cooper), who is arrested on the arouse of Soup. A flawless and continuous history followed while the family and the community affected by this brutal case are forced to collect the parts after the fallout. Each chapter is filmed in a single breathtaking jaw, gaining its legitimate place among some of the biggest shots in history.

To start, we must first remember that Eddie and Manda Miller (Christine Tremarco) are forced to face the truth that their apparently sweet young son has nothing to do with the boy whom they believed to evoke.

More importantly, is there a chance that Jamie, finally recognizing his actions, finds reprogramming during his stay in prison? There is an obvious argument to which none of this should be answered, but considering some of Graham’s best performances with two of his previous characters, he should be managed just as well.
“This is England” and “Billing Point” are two films that house a pair of better works by the actor, and in both cases, he has taken up the respective roles in spin-off television shows. By keeping this in mind, it is clear that the creative force behind this essential Netflix original has in him to return to roles for which he has shown a real passion, refining and tighting these fragile souls which he gave life so brilliantly. “Adolescence” could also be a penalty to grow.
