“A large family is not only something wonderful, but above all, it is important to raise children correctly,” she wrote in an email in Today.com, adding that her relatives only responded positively to her decision to continue to have children.
Hildebrant told the German publication Bild that it had never used contraceptives and does not smoke or consume alcohol.
“I eat very healthy, I swim regularly for an hour, I walk for two hours,” she said.
Meanwhile, Wolfgang Henrich, director of the Obstetric Department of the Charite Hospital, told Bild that the strong physical health and the mental courage of Hildebrant had allowed him to manage pregnancy well and confirmed that her birth had passed without problem.
Hildebrant and her husband recently bought a house in Berlin, where they plan to provide eight children with their own rooms. Renovations are currently underway, she told Bild.
“For this, the plaster walls must still be installed, which we have not yet finished,” she added.
The age of Hildebrant poses several increased risks during pregnancy, including miscarriage, fetal chromosomal anomalies, gestational diabetes, premature birth, mortincy, congenital disorders, high blood pressure and low birth weight, According to Johns Hopkins University.
