The Greek gods never seem to have easy things in video games. This is particularly true for Zagreus, the main character of the Roguelike Action RPG Hades of Supergiant Games. While the prince of hell gets his way to his mother Persephone, the Olympian pantheon helps him in the fight against his father.
There is extent and depth for the constructions that players can create in Hades, choosing to handle different weapons and accept different advantages similar to God in each race. Once the players have succeeded four separate dungeons – Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium and the Temple of Styx – and defeat the final boss, the game will offer new challenges.
In order to learn the complete history of Zagreus, the players will have to defeat Hades several times, to speak to the inhabitants of hell and master all the mechanisms and synergies of the game. It is one of the best Ruguelike games ever published, but a warning for the mobile version: you will need a Netflix subscription to play, which requires connecting to you for you. On the other hand, it is free for those registered in the streaming service.
