Now that my antibiotics have done their job, I’m back to full inclination. Yesterday was my hard day. But something that I recently read made realized that I was doing something wrong. I made long walks (2 hours +) for my hard, with the intervals and sprints nailed to the end after fast cruise hours. This meant that my legs were always already tired when I started the most difficult part. If instead, I did the sprints and the intervals on the fresh legs after a short warm -up, I would be able to push stronger and get more advantages. I did it for my last hard journeys and it feels good. Too early to say if it will lead to better results, but I appreciate more. The long -lived long cruise is now reserved for other days.
The Metcalf natural gas plant, about 10 miles from her house, worked hard this morning. When it is cold, the steam sometimes drags near the ground instead of getting up in panache.
Nice park in the neighborhood in front of my house. Through the poplars of Lombardy is a view of Villa Miramonte, also familiarly known under the name of “Morgan Hill House”. This former historic residence of the homonym of our city is now a beautiful museum.
