Two teenage girls, including the victim’s adopted daughter, were accused of murder after a woman was found stabbed to death in a vacation rental in Utah almost two weeks ago, investigators.
The Washington City police department said that Abigael Paige Fanagan, 17, and Mihaela Gabriela Sorescu, 16, were accused of the murder of Andreea Mottram, 47. The police said that Flanagan is also called “Jay” and that Sorescu is also called “Bella”.
Investigators said Mottram had been found by house cleaners on March 23 in a rental property in Washington City, with more than a dozen injuries by stab in the upper body.

“Currently, it is likely to suspect that the victim has been stabbed to death by Jay and / or Bella and that the two are criminally responsible,” according to new court documents obtained by Fox 13.
Police said Motram had gone to Washington City from California and had stayed in rental for three days before retirement from his body.
Due to the fact that there is no sign of forced entry, the authorities initially appointed the two adolescents as “people of interest” and thought they were the last people to see Mottram vivante.
By painting in the rental house, the detectives located the phones in the toilet which, according to the officials, belonged to Sorescu and Flanagan, according to documents, as well as an ID inside a handbag.
The detectives said that the articles “seem to have been placed in the toilet and tried to be rinsed in order to hide evidence and / or delay apprehension,” said the report.

A pair of pants were also found at home, with blood on both legs and a “bloody imprint of a knife blade”, and belonged to Sorescu, due to the size of the pants, detectives wrote.
Sorescu is Mottram’s adoptive daughter, Fox 13 reported for the first time.
Mottram went to Utah with Flanagan, a few days before his death, to visit his daughter, who had been in a residential treatment center in Washington County for three years, according to court documents.
Flanagan was previously in an establishment but was recently withdrawn by his parents.
The father of Sorsucu told the police that he had found the newspaper of her daughter in which she had written “how much she hated her mother and had written that she wanted to kill her”, in November, according to court documents.
