Former Pakistani captain Waqar Younis retaliated to Rashid Latif after the recent remarks of the latter about him and Wasim Akram.
With Pakistan undergoing an embarrassing campaign in the ICC trophy in the current ICC 2025, Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram did not hesitate to strongly criticize the team.

Undering the Pakistani team to stay away from players in the 90s, Latif said: “It took Pakistan 17 years to win another World Cup because players in the 90s did not spare Pakistan cricket.
“Also keep players from the 90s from management and team, then they will try to win. They have been serving Pakistani cricket for so long now. So I think they should rest now,” he said ironically, “he added.
Later, he took another excavation at Waqar Younis and Akram by calling them boys from Dubai and also said that they would do anything for money. Akram and Younis were both stationed in Dubai because of their diffusion functions.

Waqar Younis did not wait long to answer after the criticism of Rashid Latif. The legend of Pakistan went to the social media platform X to remind the latif of his achievements and Akram in the game. Akram and Younis are largely considered as two of the best fast bowlers of all time.
Akram retired from the ODIs as the highest flare holder of all time while Younis was in the second place. Younis picked up 416 counters in the ODI and 373 test counters. On the other hand, Akram has completed his ODI career with a 502 stunning windows while taking 414 counters in the longest format of the game.
