Arsenal is preparing for a first semi-final of the Champions League since 2009 after defeating the European Champions Real Madrid.
The Gunners were 3-0 from the first leg thanks to Declan Rice’s double and the shot of Mikel Merino, and won a 2-1 sensation in the Bernabeu after a late winner of Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal Inter 1-5
Arsenal Inter 1-5
2003/04 Champions League, group phase
Rather incredible, Arsenal’s heroism against Milan may not even be their biggest in the San Siro.
Although their victory over Inter is only in the 2003/04 group phase, it probably prevails over the victory over the Rossoneri for the fact that a victory was vital and that the score remains surprising to date.
Arsenal had a horrible start to their group campaign, winning a point in their first three games, and required a victory in Milan to stay alive.
This meant to beat a team that had beaten them 3-0 in Highbury two months earlier.
Fortunately, Thierry Henry was in red form and struck a splint to help break an inter-coat that collapsed in the second half, with Freddie Ljungberg, Edu and Robert Pires who get up on the act before the final whistle while Arsenal broke their opponents on their way to the group of victories B.

A narrow equality exploded in life in the second half when Declan Rice ran a superb free kick around the Madrid wall to take the first blood, before repeating the trick with a strike probably better a few minutes later.
Fortune striker Mikel Merino then completed a great decision to give Arsenal a gold chance to defeat their imagined opponents and make the semi -finals for the first time in 16 years – a chance that they have not passed.

2005/06/06 Champions League, in the round of 16 at first glance
Winning at the Bernabeu is quite difficult, but for Arsenal to do it without several key players and although in an indifferent form, it is difficult to say that their victory over Real Madrid in 2006 is not their most impressive achievement so far.
Arsenal came out of the Madrid blocks, brought the game to their opponents and finally put its moments of reward in the second half, with Thierry Henry who rushes on the defense to finish Iker Casillas.
The return match, where Arsenal held Los Blancos to a draw, was just as heroic, but after having become the first English team to win on the field of Real with a sub-source side, it was probably not bigger than their 1-0 success against the galacticos.
