Wayne Rooney thinks that 10-15 players must leave Manchester United so that the club starts again to move forward.
United is 14th in the Premier League with an intensively assembled team that has underperform.
The owner of the minority, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, took the unusual measure to discuss individuals in a series of interviews this week, declaring that some united players are “not good enough” and “too referenced” and referenced Casemiro, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Rasmus Højlund and André Onana.
Rooney has accepted and thinks that a light-out is required.
This Manchester United team looks lost – Rooney
Speaking on the Podcast Stick to Football, the former striker of United and England said: “I don’t think so [there is a way back for the current squad]. They seem lost, they seem frightened.
“Bruno [Fernandes] is the one who continues to produce, he sometimes bothers you but continues to produce.
“They need massive changes in the team, I think 10 to 15 players must leave the club. Obviously, they cannot do that, but there is a mentality where no one takes responsibility [in the squad]. “”
So who could keep Rooney?
In an ideal world, Rooney says he would only keep two players, adding: “I would keep Bruno and [Kobbie] Mainso.

“There is a culture at the club where it is too easy to lose games and the players are going out and say” on the next “and all this waste. Just show a little character and fight on the ground.
“It’s wrong to look, it hurts. Being from Liverpool but spending so many years to United, I want the team to do well, I have my children at the academy, and it hurts to look at them. “”
United will face Real Sociedad at Old Trafford this evening on the second floor of its round of the Europa League of 16 on a par.
The first match in San Sebastián finished 1-1 and coach Ruben Amorim hopes desperately that his team can prove that criticisms are wrong.
Everyone is underperforming – Amorim
Questioned yesterday about Ratcliffe’s remarks, the Portuguese said: “Everyone is underperforming, myself and the players. We can always change this, I include myself in this part of the underperformance.
“You are talking about players like Casemiro who won everything. We know that these players can play so much better, that’s the goal. He was honest about it. The goal is to change your mind.
“Many people will say that you are not good enough for the club, but my feeling is that you can change this with results.
“In training, I think they really want so bad.”
