Buffy The Vampire Slayer The Joss Whedon showrunner is famous for having planned major scenarios of years in advance … For example, prefiguring the existence of Buffy Dawn’s sister in seasons 3 and 4 before her introduction in season 5. However, there is a blatant example at the start of the show on how Little Whedon had thought of Angel’s love life. In the episode of season 2 “Halloween”, Willow assures that Buffy (not to mention the public) that the vampire will never go out with Cordelia, but the two end up falling in love with the Spinoff show Angel.
Why was Slayer talking about Cordelia and Angel connecting in the first place? At the beginning of “Halloween”, she was late at an appointment with her Beau-Beau because she had to deposit some of her blood comrades. This gives Cordelia time to hit Angel in bronze, which has raised fears that Buffy is not the kind of woman that her boyfriend old centuries really likes.
Looking at “Halloween” for the first time, it is difficult to disagree with Willow when she says that “Angel would never fall for [Cordelia’s] Act. “Buffy’s best friend assures her that” she is not her guy “, but Buffy begins to fear that she will not be her type.
