Bungie finally took the envelopes of his next team extraction shooter, Marathonsharing a look at gameplay and a cinematographic short film During her window this weekend. We also now know the release date: September 23. Marathon will be available on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, and supports the full cross game and the cross backup.
Marathon, A, was announced for the first time in 2023, and we have heard little more so far. Now Bungie says:
In MarathonThe players live in a runner, a cybernetic mercenary covering the remains of a lost colony of Tau Ceti IV for fortune and power. Players combine with teams of three while fighting teams of rival runners and hostile security forces for weapons and upgrades. Surviving and everything they recovered belongs to keeping for future races on Tau Ceti IV – or if they are quite courageous, a trip to the abandoned marathon ship which is suspended above.
If you have missed the Revelation window of gameplay live on Saturday, you can catch up with all Now on the Bungie website and official discord. The team says that there will be an “fairly small” closed alpha test from April 23 to May 4, before the larger tests leading to the release in September.
