In “Born Again”, Muse is Bastian Cooper (Hunter Doohan), a disturbed rich child. He wanted to be an artist but his parents disapproved. So he broke, and after reading one of Dr Heather Glenn’s therapy books (Margarita Leva), decided that “Muse” was what he was always supposed to be.

We saw Bastian in episode 2 of “Born Again”, when he approached Heather during a book signature and asked if she would take him as a patient. In the last episode, he presents himself for a session and revealed his real self to Heather, plans to use his blood for his next masterpiece. Daredevil (Charlie Cox) arrives, a fight bursts and Heather finally draws Muse Dead.
With hindsight, the character of Muse is there to launch other conflicts between our main cast. Kingpin uses the threat of muse to assemble a police force force which serves it and only him. A masked serial killer who directly threatens Heather also leads to a corner in the relationship of Matt and Matt. She disapproves of the vigilants and believes that Daredevil has the same disease as Muse, ignoring her boyfriend East Daredevil.

Is it a waste? Muse died quickly in the comics, but they also did more to make you remember than “Born Again”.
Now Comic Muse is a delicate character to adapt for a key reason. He and “Daredevil” of Soule as a whole come from this period at the end of the 2010s, when Marvel was trying to make the inhumans take the front of the stage and supplant the X-Men. The only detail of the Muse’s past which is even implicit is that it is probably an inhuman. He is inhuman Fast and strong, and its body can distort sensory perception.
This makes him a particularly difficult challenge for Daredevil, whose powers are all about his increased senses. Muse’s white chalk’s white body costume is not a costume as it is in the show; Under her mask, Muse has a crumpled face of blank and pupilé red eyes. This suggests a physical transformation, like the genre that inhumans are going through, and means that it is impossible to identify it even when it is not masked.
An “artistic” serial killer is not a new concept, but Muse works specifically as an enemi and daring flowers; It is a bad painter who fights a hero who cannot see. From his background and subscribed to the lack of powers, Muse in “Born Again” is not a new courageous artist, just another psycho of Dime-A-Dozen.
