General Motors recalls nearly 600,000 vehicles in the United States due to a potential problem with certain parts that could cause engine failure.
The recalled vehicles include 2021-2024 Cadillac Climbing, Cadillac ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, GMC Yukon and GMC Yukon XL Vehicles with V8 gas engines.
Inside their engines, the connecting rod “and / or the” parts of the engine of the crankshaft “can have manufacturing defects which can cause damage caused by the engine and a failure of the engine”, something which could increase the risk of an accident, especially if this happens while they are led, according to the automaker’s ratio.

GM built the vehicles affected between March 1, 2021 and May 31, 2024.

To solve the problem, assigned vehicles will have to undergo an inspection in the dealership, engines being repaired or replaced if necessary.
