Leicester had two home games before Vardy left, against Southampton on May 3 and the city of Ipswich on May 18 (3:00 p.m. BST).
“”[My last game will] Be a really sad day, “he said to Leicester’s website.” This is something I thought about and that I talked about with my family. I think it’s time.
“Good things end. It will be one of these emotional days. Who knows in which direction it can go? If you ask someone, I’m not really an emotional guy.
“Nothing like it never comes to me with me but, when you have been somewhere for so long and it’s time to say goodbye, you never know what your personal reaction will be.”
