“Cobra Kai” recently ended after six successful seasons, but fans of the “Karate Kid” franchise who want more adventures in this world will not have long wait to see Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) in action. The next film by “Karate Kids: Legends” will see the Boss of Miyagi-Do team up with Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), the Sensei in the “Karate Kid” 2010 restart, to form another young pariah, Li Fong (Ben Wang), for glory in the field of martial arts. The teachers responsible for wisdom claim to be two branches of the same tree, but let’s hope they would be better than Larusso and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) throughout “Cobra Kai”.

The first trailer “Karate Kid: Legends” tackles the links between the different films and television programs of the franchise, and it will be interesting to see how the finished product brings together all these disparate elements. However, the teaser has kept the answers to the biggest questions close to his chest, such as Han’s relationship with Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) and how he corpse Larusso of his retirement after the native of California has sworn to give up the karate game for good in the last season of “Cobra Kai”.
