Arne Slot is not interested in determining the permutations on what Liverpool needs to win the Premier League, her only objective is Sunday’s trip to Fulham.
The Reds have taken another giant step towards a 20th high-flying title, with a record with the 1-0 victory of Merseyside, Everton and now requires only 13 points of their remaining eight games to claim the trophy.
But Slot highlighted the difficult nature of the game against the Toffees as one of the reasons why Liverpool does not precede themselves.
He said: “In theory, so much can happen. We felt yesterday how hard it is to win a Premier League match. Yes, we have won it and yes, we are very satisfied, but David Moyes deserves a lot of credit for the way his team has been aligned and how much he has made difficulty for each team they have played since he arrived.
“It tells you that with eight games to do, each match is a challenge – starting with Fulham, which also has a very good season.
“We are not working on theories on the number of points, we take up the Fulham challenge where we will have to be our best again to obtain a result.”

Midfielder Jones can continue on the right back
The midfielder of England Curtis Jones was a surprise inclusion at the right back against Everton and he could resume this role against Fulham if Conor Bradley is not tried to travel to Craven Cottage.
“Trent [Alexander-Arnold] And Joe [Gomez] Will not be back in the coming weeks, “said Slot.
“Conor [Bradley]We will have to wait and see if he will be ready for the team for Sunday. Curtis [Jones] is an option [at right-back] Because he did well but Jarell [Quansah] Has done several times in the position too, so let’s wait and see. »»
Slot was not sure either if Alisson would return to the goal after having undergone a head injury during his international functions with Brazil. Caoimhín Kelleher deputy against Everton.
He said: “With Alisson, it’s simple, it’s a concussion and you have to check all the boxes and the moment he will do it – we follow the protocol.”
Free time is not necessarily beneficial
Liverpool has a full week of leave after the Fulham match because of its release in the knockout stages of the Champions League in the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.
This can give them an advantage in the title race, but Slot quickly admitted that he prefers that his team was always involved.
The Dutchman said: “By thinking about the previous eight months, you would say that it is a drawback, because to what extent have we done by playing every three days? But, there must have been a few moments when we also had a week of rest and I guess we only lost once we have probably won this match as well.
“I would have liked to play in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, but unfortunately, we played in Paris St-Germain and now this is our situation and we accept it.
“It is also a challenge because the players remain in good shape in the game program twice a week – they must now make even more effort during training sessions. You are unable to work as hard as you do against Everton or PSG if you are not working hard enough during the week and this is the challenge we face now.”
