After two days of return which have never been completely passed, our semi-finalists of the Champions League are ready.
Interestingly, it was the team that made the most noise on the staging of a second potential step ‘Go back It seemed to be least likely to reverse their deficit. Real Madrid fell flat on a home floor against a tenacious Arsenal team, and the Gunners have reached the last four for the first time in 16 years.

OPTA considered Arsenal as the favorites of the Champions League after their Madrid dismantling last week. On Wednesday, a 2-1 mature victory in the Spanish capital certainly did not embark their chances, the supercomputer supporting the artillerymen to bypass PSG in the semi-finals and beat Barcelona or Inter in Munich at the end of May.
Arsenal prevailed in 28.7% of the simulations managed by the OPTA supercomputer, most of the four teams.
The Inter may not be as imperative as they previously have it under Simone Inzaghi, but Opta is optimistic about their chances of reaching the final after having reversed Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. The conclusion of the second stage was frantic, but the Nerazzurri wanted to win a global victory of 4-3 on the Germans.
OPTA has been asking the chances of Inter to win her first title of the Champions League since 2010 at 25.5% – they are the second favorites before the semi -finals.
Inzaghi’s men meet Barça in a rehearsal of the emblematic semi-final of 15 years ago. While the Blaugrana of Hansi Flick leads the Liga by four points and has lost only once in all competitions in 2025, Opta does not consider Inter as a particularly good match for the Catalonians.
Barça is the least likely champions, according to the supercomputer, because they prevailed in only 21.8% of OPTA simulations. They clearly did not like what they saw on Tuesday evening, because Borussia Dortmund threatened to reverse a huge deficit of 4-0 from the first stage.
PSG also received an all-powerful fear of Aston Villa on the second floor of their equality in the quarter-finals, but the Luis Enrique team overcome the storm after conceding three times in rapid succession at the start of the second half. They showed enough courage to progress and will meet Arsenal again after losing 2-0 in the Emirates in October.
