Tottenham Hotspur is preparing a large summer transfer movement, with the Wolves Matheus Cunha and Joao Gomes duo firmly in sight.
According to a report of TheboyhotspurSpurs are ready to allocate 100 million pounds sterling to secure the two players as they seek to revise their team before the new season.
Tottenham Esweling Move for Matheus Cunha
Matheus Cunha was an out -of -competition interpreter for Wolves this season, arousing the interest of several giants of the Premier League, including Arsenal and Liverpool.
The Brazilian striker, known for his technical capacity and his movement out of the ball, turned out to be a key actor for wolves since his arrival from Atlético Madrid in 2023.
Cunha initially made a name for RB Leipzig and Hertha Berlin before moving to Atlético Madrid in 2021.
However, the limited playing time under Diego Simeone led him to seek a new challenge in England.
Since he joined Wolves, he has prospered, scoring 15 goals and providing four assists in 29 appearances this season. His global record for the club is 31 goals and 13 assists in 85 games.
The 25 -year -old recently signed a new contract in 2025, extending his stay in Molinine until 2029. His agreement includes a liberation clause of 62.5 million pounds sterling, which Tottenham could try to trigger it to the north of London.
The spurs also target Joao Gomes
Meanwhile, Joao Gomes, who should cost in the region of 40 million pounds Sterling, is also on the list of wishes for Spurs.
Their interest in Gomes is not new, the club following the midfielder since his passage from Flamengo to the Wolves in 2023.
The 24 -year -old has established himself as a reliable presence in the midfield, capable of functioning both as a central and defensive midfielder.
Gomes made 31 appearances for the Wolves, contributing four goals and two assists. His tenacity, his defensive abilities and his ability to dictate the game made him an attractive target for the Spurs, which should make significant changes in the midfield this summer.
With Yves Bissouma who should be out, Gomes could be a key addition to strengthen the team.
The president of the Spurs, Daniel Levy, alluded to a targeted approach to recruitment, emphasizing “smart purchases”, because the club aims to strengthen key areas while effectively managing their budget.
The potential signature of Cunha and Gomes would be a declaration of major intention of Tottenham, especially if they manage to repel the competition of Arsenal and Liverpool for the signing of Cunha.
As the summer window approaches, Tottenham’s prosecution of these two Wolves stars will be watched, the club wishing to strengthen their team for the challenges to come.
