The Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan recently met Aravind Srinivas, CEO of Perplexityai, at the headquarters of the company. Haasan shared the photos of his meeting with Srinivas on X (formerly Twitter) and said that the curiosity of the latter had created the AI tool.
The position has become viral on the social in no time. “From cinema to silicon, the tools evolve – but our thirst for what is following remains. Inspired by my visit to Perplexity HQ in San Francisco, where Indian ingenuity crosses Aravind Srinivas and its brilliant team to build the future – a question at the same time. Curiosity did not kill the cat – he created Aravind Srinivas and Perplexityai”, wrote Haasan in his post.
Shortly after Thespian’s position became viral on social networks, Internet users were excited and wanted Haasan to be an ambassador of the Perplexityai brand.
“Kamal Sir should be the ambassador of the Perplexityai brand in India. He means knowledge and self-learning. What do Aravind Srinivas say?” A user asked.
“Proud word for the Indians, it’s great to see you both. Thank you Kamal Sir, I love your line on curiosity, it’s great (sic),” said another user.
“Curiosity feeds revolutions – and it is clear that you always drive one, sir. From scripts to silicon valleys, your trip continues to inspire. Congratulations to @Aravsrinivas and the @perplexity_ai team to shape the future, a response at a time!” A third user said.
A fourth user commented: “Incredible! Where experience meets a curious spirit!” A few hours later, Srinivas shared his photo with Haasan and declared that the passion of Théspian to learn and incorporate advanced technology into its realization of films was inspiring.
Kamal Haasan’s interest in AI and technology is not new. He recently sent himself to the United States to take a course on artificial intelligence and to know how he can be incorporated into the cinema, according to a Deccan Herald report.
The course lasted 90 days, but he attended for 45 days before returning to India to respect his work commitments. Haasan’s future movies will incorporate AI technology.
