The fifth season of Emily in Paris Will include many fans favorites – but not everyone is back for more episodes in the series.

The Netflix series, which was created in 2020, focuses on Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) and his often hilarious attempts to find his foot in France after leaving the United States for a new job. Emily finds herself taken in a love triangle between Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien LAVISCOUNT).

Emily intentionally started season 4 by choosing Gabriel, but it ended as quickly as he started. Emily finished the season by moving on to Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) in Rome, but it was Gabriel’s future in the show that was worried.

Bravo raised his eyebrows when he made comments in October 2024 on the way in which Gabriel’s Arc frustrated him in recent seasons.

“The sexy chief ‘was part of me in season 1 and we separated from the season after the season because of the choices he makes and because of the direction they make him take,” said Bravo Indiewire. “I have never been so far from him.”

The actor said he felt that Gabriel had “slowly transformed into Guacamole” before digging on the narrative “towers” and a “lack of risk” on the screen.

“In season 1, there was a lot of me in him. But as they had his environment ignored, the dynamics, always victimizing and always completely lost in the translation and unconscious of everything that is happening around him and being manipulated by everyone, it has not become fun for me to shoot,” he noted. “Or to see a character that I love so much and brought me so much, being slowly transformed into Guacamole. I really separated from him. ”

Where would Emily in Paris (or Rome) be Emily? Season 5 is not the day we get the answer to this question because Collins should return to the titular role.

Mindy Chen

Season 4 was coming to an end but Mindy (Ashley Park) History was just beginning. During a visit to Rome, Mindy had the opportunity to perform for a crowd.
