The Secretary in the United States of Labor, Lori Chavez-Deremer, reacts to a positive report of April jobs and breaks down where the American careers are booming.
The Trump administration would feel well after a better than expected April job report, because the work secretary Lori Chavez-Deremer claims that this marks the start of a new golden age.
“With President Trump at the helm, I tell you, he has mentioned to the American people repeatedly that the golden age came. I will tell you that the golden age is there,” said the secretary on “Varney & Co.” Friday.
“This is another major job report, exactly what the market expected, better than expected. And I could not be more honored to serve under the president with these employment numbers,” added Chavez-Deremer. “And now, as I continue on the road, we will continue to beat the sidewalk and these figures will continue to go up.”
The Ministry of Labor reported on Friday that employers added 177,000 jobs in April. This figure was above the estimate of the economists interviewed by LSEG, although it is cooler than the 185,000 added in March – which was initially announced as a gain of 228,000.

The government’s wage bill added 10,000 jobs in April to all levels of the government. The drop in 9,000 jobs in the federal government was more than offset by gains of 6,000 in the government of the state and 13,000 in the local government.
The use of health care has also experienced notable increases, while the manufacture of payroll has decreased by 1,000 jobs.
Fox Business correspondent Lauren Simonetti reports from Lincoln Technical Institute to discuss the future of commercial jobs in the United States on “The Claman Countdown”.
“People want their civil servants or their public employees to be close to them. And it is exactly this trend that we see,” said Chavez-Deremer.
Despite a negative manufacturing number, the labor secretary stressed that she was not disappointed or discouraged.
