Columbus Blue Jackets, Captain Zach Werenski, and his fiancée Odette Peters get married this summer. On Saturday, Odette celebrated her bridal shower with family and friends.
Odette shared a series of stories on her Instagram from the special event. One of the photos showed a beautifully adjusted table with its bridal shower with elegant floral arrangements, framed engagement photos, champagne flutes and a creative game card entitled “Sketch That Dress” inviting guests to guess what Odette would wear the day of her big day.
Another republished story saw Odette stand between two guests while wearing a white lace dress with a high slit.
“T-70 days 💍. I can’t wait to celebrate my sister 🤍,” read the original legend of the story shared by her friend Jenna.

The last story featured Odette in her bridal shower dress, surrounded by three of her family and friends. The group was held together in a lamele room, the original legend of the grilled story Odette and its special day.

Earlier this year, Odette Peters made a trip to New York looking for her wedding dress. She has published some updates on her Instagram stories, including a video of the Galia Lahav designer store with legend:
“New York, New York @galialahav.”
In another click, Odette was standing in front of Jaxon James Couture Bridal holding a sign that said: “I said yes! Jaxon James Bride.” The store also sent him a handwritten note that Oodte shared on her story.
“O, applauds a few days in the city and to find your dress.” He was reading.
Zach Werenski and Odette Peters have been together for seven years and the couple celebrated their birthday in September 2024. They got engaged last year in May during a trip to Barcelona, Spain.
Meredith Gaudreau, the widow of the former teammate and close friend of Zach, Johnny Gaudreau, published a photo of the wedding invitation from Zach and Odette on her stories in December of last year. In legend, she wrote:
“Oh my 😍. The Yearrrr wedding is on our doors! ”
After Johnny’s tragic death in a car accident at the end of August of last year, Zach and Odette were close to Meredith and his children often visiting and providing support.
