California Governor Gavin Newsom dissects the impact of prices on the economy on “Kudlow”.
California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, partially blame the financial misfortunes of his state – including a freezing proposed on the illegal registration of adult immigrants in full medicaid – on President Donald Trump.
Newsom began the budget of $ 322 billion in the state. It includes a deficit of $ 12 billion – a shortfall Newsom partially blame what he called the “Trump crisis”. Newsom also covered his criticisms saying: “I do not blame the president for the deficit. Anyone else could be, you might be, but that’s not what I do. I directly join dollars of important income for shares.”
The White House reacted to Newsom’s comments.
“After decades of mismanagement, incompetence and corruption, Californian democrats have no one other than for themselves for California’s financial problems,” said White House spokesman Kush Desai, in a statement at Fox Business.

In order to combat California’s budget deficit, Newsom has unveiled a plan that would freeze on the state Medicaid program, known as Medi-Cal, for adult illegal immigrants, an information sheet that the Governor’s office told Fox Business.
The document notes that the proposed frost would take effect “at the earliest January 1, 2026” and would apply “to new adult candidates over 19 years old.” People “would not have launched their health care,” the document said.
Californians currently without legal status which are already registered with Medi-Cal will maintain the coverage.

On January 1, 2027, any illegal immigrant of over 19 years and enrolled in the program will be billed a monthly bonus of $ 100.
The change, says the document, is partly due to Trump’s economic policies.
“Trump’s pendulum swings on prices have slowed down the economy and weaken state revenues by $ 16 billion,” said the document.

Although the plan has yet to go through the state legislature, the press release said that Newsom “refuses to turn their back on workers, especially with regard to their basic health needs”.

“No state has only made California,” said Newsom. “No state will continue to do more than California, long -term.”
The press release continued: “But due to the crisis of $ 16 billion Trump and the use of higher health care than expected, the State must take difficult but necessary measures to ensure budgetary stability and preserve the long-term viability of Medi-Cal for all Californians.”
