Wilder told Sky Sports: “We had everything to lose tonight. We had to work hard and not be complacent, we could have injured ourselves.
“It was an embarrassing start, we were taken between pressing and not. You know what football looks like, a moment can change the environment from a field but we found our rhythm and to get the first goal was huge. He settled everyone.
“My attitude after the match is that we did not do the job. We have the opportunity to get out of the division and the support was electric. When it swings here, it gives you a big push. We can sit and relax now and watch tomorrow night.
“I told the players to take care of each other, but would I have a beer tonight if I was a 100%player.
“It was an incredibly difficult season for us, but a night as this evening is a boost and the recognition they deserve.”
