Terra Harper, world champion in WBO light weights (15-2-2, 6 KB) should defend its title against light competition Natalie Zimmermann (13-0, 3 KB) on Saturday May 23 at the Eco-Power stadium in Doncaster, United Kingdom, Live Worldwide on Dazn.

The 28 -year -old champion, Terra Harper, will make the first defense of her title, while the 42 -year -old challenger, Natalie Zimmermann, will participate in her first world title fight. Harper is a world champion with several divisions who wants to make a statement against her undefeated opponent.
In November 2021, the WBC superpum weight champion, Terra Harper, faced the first Challenger of the world title Alycia Baumgardner. It was a shocking boxing night when Baumgardner stopped Harper in the fourth round.
A year later, Harper bounded by beating Hannah Rankin and winning the WBA junior weight title. Harper would continue to make two successful title defenses, then she decided to go down a weight class to fight for the WBO Welterweight title.
Harper’s offer to become a Welters weight champion failed because she was arrested by Sandy Ryan in the 4th round. Six months later, Harper received another gold shot from the championship, and she took advantage of it, when she was beating Rhiannon Dixon and won the WBO Lightweight strap.
Now, British champion Terra Harper is ready to defend the WBO title for the first time. Harper’s opponent plans to ruin the return event by playing the role of spoiler and bringing the title back to his homeland.
Originally from Hamburg, Germany, Natalie Zimmermann began her career in combat sports as a Kickboxer where she won three consecutive German national championships. Zimmermann made the transition to professional boxing at the age of 38.
She made her debut in August 2020, when she defeated Abigail Quashie by separate decision. Zimmermann continued her winning paths when she won 12 additional victories. Now, the unbeaten competitor will try to capitalize on his first shot in a world title.
Judging by her spotless record, you would think that Natalie Zimmermann is a worthy challenger in the world title, but this may not be the case. Zimmermann is undefeated, but she never faced an opponent with a winning record.
Natalie Zimmermann is a fighter who has a type of boxing style. She has quick feet and she is aggressive, but her technique is defective, she launches a lot of arms and her defense is summary.
The reigning champion Terre Harper is by far the most polite fighter. She has a solid blow, a good game of legs, she knows how to control the range, and once she understands the range, she continues to let the combinations steal.
This should be a type of fight for Terra Harper, but in a recent interview, the determined challenger has spoken of its ambitions.
“It has always been my dream to prove my proven fighters like Terre and to present my skills,” said Zimmermann. “My coach and I will develop strategies for combat. There will certainly be surprises for my opponent. ”
