Federico Chiesa is happy in Liverpool despite a limited playing time, according to his father.
While the international break takes place, the Italian striker took advantage of the opportunity to continue his training regime.
Chiesa recently played a crucial role in Liverpool, filling the Carabao Cup final in Wembley.
However, his contributions were sporadic in what was a difficult season for him personally.
Despite speculation connecting the 27 -year -old man to a potential summer distance from Anfield, his father, the former Italian striker Enrico Chiesa, reassured the fans that Federico is satisfied with his current situation.
Addressing Tuttosport, he said: “Federico is very happy in Liverpool, he is in a high -level club that leads the Premier League and now we hope he can win the title!
“He is there to have his say, he has a great opportunity.”

So far, Chiesa was mainly found in a substitute role, not yet started a first League match. Of his 11 appearances for Liverpool, only two were part of the starting program.
Given its reputation for one of the most promising talents of attack in Europe – in particular after its success with Italy in the euros of 2020 – its reduced involvement could be considered a source of frustration.
However, his father has always strengthened a resilient state of mind, the pressing to remain prepared for opportunities. Thinking about Federico’s trip, Enrico Chiesa added: “I told him in the summer what I have been saying since he was a child, because the truth is, until the age of 15, he did not really play.
“When he asked him what he should do, I told him to continue training, don’t give up, make sure you have come when the time comes.”
No regrets on the release of Juventus
In the midst of current rumors on a potential summer departure, Enrico Chiesa rejected any notion of regret concerning the passage of Federico from Juventus to Liverpool.
“Regrets are only alibis for losers. No, there are no regrets,” he said.
While many of his Liverpool teammates left for international service, Chiesa was the only senior field player who remained at the club because of not being called.
Taking advantage of the break, he returned to Italy but remained dedicated to his training. During the weekend, he published an Instagram photo of himself working in his Liverpool equipment in the context of the Dolomites.
With nine remaining Premier League games, it is still time for Chiesa to play his request for a more important role at Anfield.
That it remains beyond summer remains uncertain, but for the moment, its objective remains on the contribution each time called.
