Turned and killed in the Pahalgam region Indian cashmere, urging thousands of people gathered on the site to do the same.
“We will pursue them to the ends of the earth,” said Modi, referring to the attackers, without referring to their identity or named Pakistan.
His comments, however, are held to no longer ignite the links between nuclear weapons rivals after India has downgraded ties with Pakistan late Wednesday, suspending a six -decades of water and closing the only land border passage between the neighbors.
The Minister of Power of Pakistan, Awais Lekhari, described the suspension of the Industry Water Treaty “an act of water war; a loose and illegal decision”.

Misri, the best diplomat of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, did not offer any proof of the ties or provided more details.

The Industry Treaty, mediated by the World Bank and signed in 1960, regulated the sharing of river waters Industs and its tributaries between India and Pakistan. He has resisted two wars between the neighbors since then and serious strains of links at other times.
Diplomatic relations between the two countries were weak before the latest measures were not announced because Pakistan had expelled the envoy of India and had not published its own ambassador to New Delhi after India revoked the semi-autonomous status of cashmere in 2019.
Tuesday’s attack is considered a setback of what Modi and his national Hindu Bharatiya Janata party projected as a major achievement to revoke the special status that Jammu and the state of cashmere have appreciated and bringing peace and development to the Muslim long -standing region.
Twenty-six people were killed and 17 were injured when alleged activists opened fire to tourists in India, Jammu and cashmere territory, the worst attack in this country in almost two decades.
India has often accused Islamic Pakistan of participation in a cashmere insurrection, but Islamabad says that it only offers diplomatic and moral support to a request for self -determination.
Tens of thousands of people have been killed in cashmere since the start of the uprising in 1989, but it has gone down in recent years and tourism has increased in the picturesque region.
