“We are all at the idea of trying to help people appreciate and have fun eating delicious foods without having a ton and a ton of sugar,” Kaliannan told Fox Business. Catalina Crunch uses a mixture of sweeteners in its products, and the prices have left a bitter taste in the mouth. The fruit, which acts as a natural zero calorie sweetener, has several specific growth requirements, according to Kaliannan.

“Moine fruits are an interesting ingredient because it is cultivated in southern China. It requires a warm, humid and subtropical environment, generally at high altitude and for long periods,” Kaliannan told Fox Business.
