San Diego, California, the police ask for public help to identify a man who pretended to be a carpooling driver and has sexually assaulted a woman who went up in her vehicle.
The San Diego police department learned that around 1:10 am on March 15, an adult woman entered the back seat of what she thought was a carpool she had asked, in the Pacific Beach region.
The investigators said that the unknown man who was driving the vehicle pretended to be the women’s carpooling driver and that he took her away from his pickup point for a few kilometers.
He would then have sexually assaulted the woman before she could get out of the vehicle.

Once out, the culprit moved away from the scene, although the victim does not remember the direction he had left.
The police said that the suspect is described as a mixed man who is about 30 years old with brown eyes, an average muscular construction, curly hair length, a large nose and sporting a mustache and a beard.

At the time of the assault, the suspect led what the police said they may be a red Toyota with four doors 2022-25 or a similar vehicle.
Detectives hope to determine if there are additional victims who may have been sexually assaulted by the same suspect.
