Mother matches abandoned the trailer for her next title, the zoo. According to the studio, the zoo is an “emerging RPG” with surrealist animation, as shown in the trailer. The game is apparently a mixture of online gameplay and live history, currently in private Alpha with testers, and mother games plan to launch it to the public later this year.
The zoo is built using a set of proprietary data which includes an old literature such as the hierarchy of Maslow needs, with a layer of internal intermediary called Womb, which will also make its beginnings in 2025. In addition to The surreal conception, Mother says that the game also has introspection and humor, with the experience adapted to the player and encouraging them to explore their inner self through gameplay and cooperative experiences.
The game allows players to choose how the game progresses for them, by “exposing the code which takes place below the surface of our daily life”, according to the developers. His animation is led by the Disney veteran, Giacomo Mora, with his sound and his production led by Brian Alcazar, formerly of Rockstar Games.
The Games Games were launched from Stealth last year with $ 5 million in pre-series funding for the zoo. The game is its first project and the developers intend to create “transformative experiences designed to awaken players to their own mental programming and extend their interior worlds through the game.”
